Mission

The Baylis Medical Company For the Children committee will volunteer its time to positively impact youth, the leaders of tomorrow, by supporting their access to improved, universal education and by helping them to realize their full potential.

For The Children

The For The Children committee has identified some charities who match our own mission statement for the betterment of youth through education. Here are the two charities we are actively supporting: Free the Children and Breakfast for Learning.

Baylis Medical is working in collaboration with Kids Can Free the Children to financially support the Hhashi School in a rural village of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.

Since 2002 we have been raising money, first to build part of the school, then to install electricity. In 2004 we donated money to pay the enrolment fees for many of the children whose families could not afford to enroll them in school. This money is being used to support the basic needs for running the school, improve the quality of education, and allow disadvantaged children the opportunity for an education. In return these children have sent us letters, drawings, poems, and more. These items give us a little view of life through their eyes.
